Raspberry Waffles with Grand Marnier® Maple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 375 mL (1 ½ cup) flour
  • 10 mL (2 tsp) baking powder
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 335 mL (1 1/3 cup) milk
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 250 mL (1 cup) vanilla yogurt
  • 250 mL (1 cup) raspberries
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) maple syrup or Grand Marnier® Maple Syrup
  • 80 mL (1/3 cup) pistachios

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt
  2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Gradually blend in with dry ingredients. Add melted butter and stir.
  3. Prepare waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions
  4. Pour a small amount of batter into each waffle section. Cook 4 to 6 minutes, or according to manufacturer's instructions.
  5. When the waffle iron has stopped steaming, try lifting cover. If you feel resistance, cook 1 or 2 minutes more.
  6. When waffles are cooked, lift a corner of one waffle with a bamboo skewer and rapidly remove
  7. Repeat steps with the other waffles
  8. Top waffles with yogurt
  9. Garnish with raspberries and drizzle with Grand Marnier® maple syrup
  10. Sprinkle with pistachios
